Victim of its success, OpenAI had quickly had to restrict new subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus after its DevDay conference. Since then, anyone wishing to subscribe to the paid ChatGPT service had to first register on a waiting list.
Good news: no more waiting! Open AI has just reopened the subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus, without waiting list and without delay.
GPU search
“We have reactivated the subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus,” announced Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, on X (formerly Twitter). “Thank you for your patience while we were looking for more GPU. »
Graphics processing units (GPUs) improve the computing power and parallel processing capabilities of chatbots powered by artificial intelligence. They are optimized to handle thousands of threads simultaneously, to follow the best evolution and to improve the machine learning capabilities of a chatbot – for faster and more efficient training.
In summary, GPUs can help increase the ability of an AI-powered chatbot to process more requests from a larger number of users at a given time. More GPU also reduces the latency of responses– the time it takes for the chatbot to respond to users.
GPT-4, Dall-E 3 and my GPT
The subscription to ChatGPT Plus costs 20 dollars per month. In particular, it allows access to GPT-4, the most powerful language model of OpenAI, connected to the internet with Bing. It also makes it possible to generate images thanks to DALL-E 3 and to perform advanced data analysis.
The paid version of ChatGPT also allows subscribers to access My GPT to create their personalized AI chatbots, powered by GPT-4 and plug-ins.
For those who do not wish to subscribe to a paid subscription, ChatGPT is always available for free. The free version focuses on the text and is based on the GPT-3.5 template.
