For the iPhone 15 or an Android smartphone, this affordable charger from Anker is a good deal

Last week, Apple unveiled its iPhone 15 range and, with it, the long-awaited switch to USB-C. Due to this change, you will probably have to buy new accessories, but the good news is that this Anker battery at € 30 is really worth buying.
Before the release of Apple’s smartphones, Anker unveiled the latest novelties of its Anker Nano range, including this 22.5 W Nano battery, which I tested throughout the month and which impressed me a lot.
I have some complaints to make to many portable chargers: either I forget a cable, or I don’t know where to hold the charger while it’s charging my laptop, not to mention the impression that it takes forever to increase the battery percentage. This charger solves all these problems and many more.
Specifications of the Anker Nano 22.5W power bank
- Power: 22.5W
- Capacity: 5000mAh
- Dimensions : 7.6 x 4.2 x 2.5cm
- Weight: 100 g
- Price: 30 €
Lipstick-sized battery
This battery is a self-contained charger that fits in the palm of your hand and fits comfortably in your pocket without weighing it down.
To compare the sizes, I placed it next to my favorite lipstick stick and, as you can see, they are very comparable in size.

The battery is also equipped with a retractable USB-C port, which further strengthens its compactness.
To use the charger, simply raise the USB-C port and leave it plugged into your phone while you continue your phone activities, eliminating the difficulty of finding where to place it.
With such a small form factor, you would think that its charging power would be compromised. However, this is far from my experience.
An impressive charging power for its size
This autonomous Nano 22.5W battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, which is enough to charge an iPhone 15 Pro to 68%, according to Anker. In my experience, she charged my Samsung Z Flip 4 from zero to 30% in half an hour.
Even if it doesn’t seem like a huge boost, remember that this portable charger is intended to get you out of a bad step. If your phone crashes while you are on the go, recovering a quarter of your battery in less than 30 minutes can save your life.
The battery charging is done without problems
Charging the Nano is a breeze because it has a two-way charging function, which allows you to plug it into a USB-C power outlet, and this without any annoying wires.

If you still want to power the portable charger using a cable, you have this possibility because it has a USB-C port on the side. If you choose this alternative, you can charge your phone at the same time as the power bank thanks to its bidirectional charging capabilities.

In conclusion
If you are looking for a new autonomous battery for your smartphone, the Anker Nano 22.5W is a good choice because it will not ruin you and it fulfills its role well. Its efficiency, size and low price even make it a good choice for a gift. Dare I say under the Christmas tree?
