LinkedIn has quickly adopted generative AI and deployed features that use it for its users. Today, the platform doubles these functionalities, adding new tools to its platform for recruitment, coaching, and more.
Recruiter 2024
The first feature, Recruiter 2024, is a recruitment experience that leverages generative AI and LinkedIn knowledge to help recruiters quickly find the talent they need.
With Recruiter 2024, all a recruiter has to do is type in the platform the criteria of the professional he would like to hire using natural language. LinkedIn will then be able to help him by creating a project with the information and pre-selecting a list of candidates who meet these criteria.
LinkedIn will also be able to make recommendations on how to optimize the search, for example by expanding the targeted place or suggesting if the role should be hybrid, taking into account the demographic characteristics of the inhabitants of the region, according to the press release.
This experience, combined with the AI-assisted messaging feature launched in May, which allows recruiters to use AI to write InMail messages to potential candidates, should help streamline recruiters’ efforts.
AI Coach
LinkedIn also unveiled its new AI-powered coaching experience, which allows professionals to engage in AI-powered coaching by interacting with a chatbot that can provide real-time advice and personalized content for the user.
According to the release, users can strengthen their management and leadership skills by asking questions such as “How can I delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively? “The chatbot will answer questions to better understand the user’s situation, then provide advice, examples and personalized comments.
The chatbot’s coaching experience also helps users connect to existing LinkedIn courses and documents that are most suitable for them, even telling them where to start.
Testing before deployment
LinkedIn says that Recruiter 2024 and LinkedIn Learning’s AI-powered coaching will be tested with a handful of users now, and then rolled out to all Recruiter and Learning Hub users during the year.
Finally, LinkedIn has also announced a tool for marketers called “Accelerate for Campaign Manager”. With this tool, marketers will be able to get personalized end-to-end campaign recommendations in just five minutes.
Accelerate is also being tested with a limited number of North American users starting today.
