Quntis Monitor Light Bar Pro+ Test: Illuminate your desk better with this light bar for monitor

I like good lighting. Not only does it allow you to see things better, but it can also create an atmosphere and give your space the atmosphere it needs so much.

I had never considered using a monitor light bar, because I didn’t even know that it existed. Also, when the public relations department contacted me to test the company’s Quntis Monitor Light Bar Pro+ lamp, I thought to myself: “This is a light for my office, what harm could there be in that? Why not? »

I was far from suspecting that this bar-shaped lamp would make a big difference in my office.

I can see my keyboard much better

It’s not that the monitor itself needs additional lighting, because it copes very well on its own. But the extra light that spills out of the screen and spills onto my desk is a game changer for me.

Even with my LED panel attached to the ceiling of my office, my office has always suffered from shadows and dark spots. With this light bar from Quntis, these shadows have disappeared. I can see my keyboard and everything in my workspace much better.

Of course, it also highlights how dusty my office can be… but that’s another topic.

This well-designed and inexpensive light bar makes such a difference that I can’t imagine going without it. In fact, this is the first light I turn on in my office.

Best of all, once the sun is shining, I can choose to leave the main office light off and not have a problem working at my desk.

My experience with the Quntis Monitor Light Bar Pro+ Light Bar

The installation of the Quntis lamp was a breeze. To connect the remote control, simply insert the batteries, press the upper button and turn the ring clockwise or counterclockwise. Once connected, the remote control can be used in the following ways :

  • Turn the dial counterclockwise to decrease the value of the light color temperature (make it warmer).
  • Turn the dial clockwise to increase the value of the light color temperature (make it colder).
  • Click the top button once to turn the light on or off.
  • Long press the button to adjust the self-timer.

Double-click the top button to activate the ambient sensor.

I tend to direct the light downwards to illuminate the office more. Even in this position, it adds a little light to the screen. The light it sends is perfect for me and I don’t need additional lighting on my desk.

ZDNET buying tips for the Quntis Monitor Light Bar PRO+

One thing is for sure: at certain times of the day, when the sun shines the brightest through one of the windows in my office, the light bar is not necessary.

On the other hand, at any other time of the day, I got used to this little lamp. It doesn’t take up space on my already cluttered desk, it lights up the screen and my desk perfectly, and the remote control makes it incredibly easy to use.

If you find that your desk is too dark and you don’t want to clutter up the space more with a traditional desk lamp, this lamp could well be the solution you are looking for.
