Alongside Frédéric Vacher, Director of Innovation at the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, we were able to discover more than thirty innovative projects in virtual reality. A lab to germinate projects

This open innovation laboratory founded in 2015 welcomes entrepreneurs, innovators and manufacturers from all over the world and supports them in their projects. It embraces the concept of social enterprise, combining collective intelligence with a cross-collaboration approach that contributes to the proliferation and enrichment of ideas. As for expertise, the laboratory relies on the long experience of virtual technologies that the firm possesses, specialized in 3D modeling, simulations and the development of various software solutions.

“We rely on collective intelligence, our goal is to build a community of intelligent, creative and passionate people, who strive to have a positive impact on society, by creating innovative and disruptive projects,” reads the Dassault Systèmes website. “For the selected innovations, we are committed to helping them bring these projects to life, in the hope of triggering sustainable progress for the world of tomorrow. “Recently, Dassault Systèmes launched the Virtual 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, which honors startups whose projects have sprouted within the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab.

A virtual reality visit

With the help of a simple VR headset, this virtual space, to be visited like a museum, immediately immerses you in the center of an immersive and informative experience, discovering more than 30 disruptive innovations adopting an innovative approach around the themes of the sustainable city, personalized health solutions, more environmentally friendly consumer goods. You will discover over the course of these projects how each one contributes to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. In addition, you will be able to hear the presentation offered by the CEO of the startup, and explore interactively the virtual counterpart of the project.

“This virtual world shows the vocation of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab to always support the selected startups in the best possible way, thanks to access to the 3DEXPERIENCE collaborative platform, applications and especially mentors, bringing their expertise to projects,” explains Frédéric Vacher at the origin of this laboratory.

The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab is currently present on the campuses of Paris (France), Boston (United States) and Pune (India). The interactive interactive space remains accessible all year round on the cloud of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, wherever you are in the world.
